새로운 지침을 발표하였습니다.

 

I-693은 미국내 영주권을 진행하시는 분들이 제출해야되는 서류 중 하나로

신체검사를 하신 후 해당 병원에서 받으실 수 있으십니다.

미국 시민권 및 이민 서비스(USCIS)가 오늘(2024년 4월 4일) 발표한 내용에 따르면, 2023년 11월 1일 이후에 이민국 지정 의사에 의해 올바르게 작성되고 서명된 어떠한 I-693 양식(이민 의료 검진 및 예방접종 기록 보고서)도 만료되지 않으며, 이민청원서 신청자가 건강 관련 이유로 입국 금지 조건에 해당하지 않음을 입증하는 증거로 계속 사용될 수 있다고 발표했습니다.

 

미국 질병통제예방센터(CDC)와 협의하여 공중 보건 전자 통지절차의 진전을 고려하여, USCIS는 올바르게 작성되었고 2023년 11월 1일 이후에 의사에 의해 서명된 I-693 양식의 증명자료로서의 가치를 특정 기간으로 제한하지 않아야 한다고 결정했습니다. USCIS 심사관은 신청자의 건강 상태가 의사가 I-693 양식에 서명한 후에 변경되었거나, 제출된 I-693 양식이 신청자의 건강 상태를 정확하게 반영하지 않을 수 있고 신청자가 건강 관련 이유로 입국 금지 조건에 해당할 수 있다고 생각될 경우, 더 많은 증거나 새로운 또는 업데이트된 I-693 양식을 요청할 수 있습니다.

 

만약 신청자의 이민 의료 검진이 2023년 11월 1일 이전에 완료되었다면, 이전 정책이 계속 적용됩니다. 2023년 11월 1일 이전에는 의사가 CDC에 특정 정보를 전자적으로 공유하거나 보고할 필요가 없었습니다. USCIS는 CDC와 협의한 후, 2023년 11월 1일 이전에 의사에 의해 올바르게 작성되고 서명된 I-693 양식은 의사의 서명 날짜로부터 2년간 증명자료로서의 가치를 유지한다고 결정했습니다.

 USCIS Announces New Guidance
on Form I-693 Validity Period

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services today announced (PDF, 317.28 KB) that any Form I-693, Report of Immigration Medical Examination and Vaccination Record, that was properly completed and signed by a civil surgeon on or after Nov. 1, 2023, does not expire and can be used indefinitely as evidence to show that the applicant is not inadmissible on health-related grounds.

 

In consultation with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and based on advances in public health electronic notification, USCIS has determined that a Form I-693’s evidentiary value should no longer be limited to a certain period if it is properly completed and was signed by a civil surgeon on or after Nov. 1, 2023. USCIS officers have discretion to request more evidence or a new or updated Form I-693 if they have reason to believe the applicant’s medical condition has changed since the civil surgeon signed the Form I-693, or that the Form I-693 submitted does not accurately reflect the applicant’s medical condition and the applicant may be inadmissible on health-related grounds.

 

If an applicant’s immigration medical examinations were completed before Nov. 1, 2023, the prior policy still applies. Before Nov. 1, 2023, civil surgeons did not need to share or report certain information to the CDC electronically. USCIS has consulted with the CDC and determined that a properly completed Form I-693 signed by a civil surgeon before Nov. 1, 2023, continues to retain evidentiary value for two years from the date of the civil surgeon’s signature. This does not apply to Forms I-693 filed by Operation Allies Welcome parolees. Their Forms I-693 retain their evidentiary value for three years from the date of the civil surgeon signature, through policy and in consultation with CDC.
